For the Rochester Gold & Jewelry Exchange website, we wanted to makeover their existing web presence and give it a more current feel.

To do so, we brightened up the page by using a white content area over an updated wallpaper. Using a larger font and a ton more whitespace, we were able to organize content in a way that was both more visiually appealing and easier to understand. We also moved the location information to a sidebar that is carried throughout the site, making addresses and phone numbers much more accessible than they were previously.

In making the transition from Flash to JavaScript, we replaced their dated Flash banner with a jQuery slider and wrote an XML based price ticker for the top of the page.
